A travel nurse who has been charged with sexually assaulting his infant son and who is alleged to have done the same to unconscious hospital patients was fired from his role as a youth pastor at a San Antonio-area church for "abusing volunteers," the San Antonio Express-News has learned.
Jesse Daniel Skaggs, 32, of Universal City, was youth pastor at The Purpose Church in Marion in 2021 and 2022, according to posts on the church's social media pages and people close to the congregation who asked to remain anonymous.
“And he said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God.” (Luke 16:15)
