Ottawa County Michigan: Not likely that the Looney Tunes @OttawaImpact will let this go down without a fight

Cameron James reports:

Right now, Ottawa County’s motto is “Where Freedom Rings.” Two years ago, the board, then dominated by Ottawa Impact, replaced the previous motto shortly after being sworn in. 

It was one of several big changes they instituted on their first day. The Ottawa Impact led board also fired both the county’s longtime attorney and administrator. 

The administrator they chose, John Gibbs, was fired a year later by the same board members. There has not been a permanent administrator since then. Ottawa County reopens search for administrator. 

The board has now resumed its search for a replacement after four final candidates withdrew from consideration earlier this year. Former Ottawa County Sheriff Gary Rosema has served as interim administrator since January and has agreed to remain in the position while the job search continues.
