Ottawa County leaders tied to the highly conservative Ottawa Impact political platform say they hope to hire a new county administrator this month, despite pushback from some. 

Ottawa County Board Chair Joe Moss, in a Monday, Nov. 18 statement, said he hopes the county board of commissioners can pick a new administrator Nov. 26. 

Moss’ made his intentions known even as a group of incoming new commissioners -- all elected earlier this month -- want him to hold off until they take office in January.
