Two defeated members of far-right Ottawa Impact take desperate measures to regain their seats on Ottawa County Commission

Two Ottawa County commissioners who lost in the August Republican primary have filed to run as write-in candidates for the November election. 

District 9 Commissioner Roger Belknap and District 1 Commissioner Gretchen Cosby both have filed notifications with the Ottawa County Clerk’s Office. 

Their names will not appear on the November ballot, but a voter may write-in the candidates name.
