100 Years of Frank Sinatra: "Meet Me in Las Vegas"

Frank Sinatra makes a brief, uncredited appearance in Meet Me in Las Vegas as 'Man at Slot Machine'.  You won't see him in this trailer.

The movie debuted in Las Vegas on February 21, 1956, and opened a few weeks later in New York City at the Astor Theater.

I suspect New York Times movie critic Bosley Crowther has his tongue firmly planted in cheek throughout his 3/14/1956 review.

Here's a sample:  He can find himself ogling such performers as Cyd Charisse, Frankie Laine and Lena Home and rubbing elbows with such haphazard transients as Tony Martin, Frank Sinatra and Debbie Reynolds. Furthermore, he can have the private pleasure of watching the beauteous Miss Charisse being pursued by a boisterous Dan Dailey, as a gambling fiend with a cozy ranch within driving range.

The population of Las Vegas was in the neighborhood of 45,000 when this movie was released.

Wanna bet it's somebody's birthday?
