This week's Big Boner award goes to Trump waterboy (and Florida governor) Ron DeSantis

Florida ordered 1M doses of a Trump-touted drug. Hospitals didn't want it.  (Politico, 6/11/2020)
Only 16,100 doses have been shipped to six hospitals as of Thursday, according to state records provided to POLITICO. The biggest batch — 7,500 — went to Baptist health in Duval County. The rest went to hospitals owned by Altamonte Springs-based AdventHealth.

And look where it has got him.  The largest number of cases in one week -- 7,775 from June 1-7.   Already up another 7,000 in the past 5 days (June 8-12)

DeSantis orders 1 million doses of controversial anti-malaria drug before nearing coronavirus peak.  (Fox 13 Tampa Bay, 4/8/2020)

"Before nearing coronavirus peak"?  That was 66 days ago.

GET ME REWRITE: Larry Kudlow's hazy crystal ball (part 2)

Care to reconsider, Larry?

Original 3/9/2020 post, "Channeling Bloody Mary:  White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow on the Coronavirus", starts here.

.
Kudlow doesn't have the best track record.
Kudlow became Economics Editor at National Review Online (NRO) in May 2001. In December 2007, NRO published a Kudlow article entitled Bush Boom Continues, in which he asserted the economy would continue to expand for years to come. The Great Recession, the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression, began that month. GET ME REWRITE: Robin Vos blows on his racist dog whistle, ears perk up "west of the I" in Racine County

Quoted in In secret recording, Vos says immigrant 'culture' was to blame for COVID-19 outbreak in Racine County.  (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, 6/11/2020)

The art of Wisconsin gerrymander

Vos wants nothing to do with the City of Racine, where the population is 22.8% African-American and 23.1% Hispanic or Latino.  Vos's district is 84% white.

About that 'immigrant culture'...

But aside from being the muckraking novel that led to the creation of the FDA or a socialist call to arms that went largely unheard, The Jungle is a story of how U.S. society exploits immigrants. This reading is often overlooked, yet it is worth remembering that sympathy for and solidarity with immigrants is at the heart of this seminal work of literature — especially amid the xenophobic atmosphere of the United States today, where the president has shut down the government over a border wall with Mexico, detention facilities hold untold numbers of immigrants, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents stalk communities across the country. It’s been more than a century since the publication of The Jungle, yet the predation described by Sinclair still persists.

You could also say that Trump experienced a case of premature ejaculation
