Manitowoc Wisconsin news: Workforce housing on former Mirro site get green light in the form of tax credits

Steven Devine reports:

Over $1.5 million through the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority is going toward a future 59-unit apartment complex on the former Mirro site. 

Mayor Justin Nickels announced that this would be the final step in making the project a reality on the land of the former Mirro factory. 

Last year, Manitowoc received almost $2 million from a federal grant through the bipartisan infrastructure laws for the final cleanup of most of the site.
