Wisconsin 2022 elections: Election denier Chris Connell snags 23% of the vote in the 68th Assembly GOP primary

The GOP gerrymandered 68th Assembly District includes the eastern half of Eau Claire County and most of the western half of Clark County, as well as parts of southern Chippewa County, northwest Jackson County and northeast Trempealeau County.

After serving nearly 2 terms in the Assembly, Jesse James is running for an open seat in the State Senate.



Three Republicans will face off in the August 9, 2022, primary, one of whom is still obsessing over the 2020 election.   Democrats have been losing ground in this district, so Nate has his work cut out for him.
