Wisconsin 2024 elections: Republican Cindi Duchow announces candidacy for 97th Assembly district

Cindi Duchow (R-Town of Delafield) currently represents the 99th Assembly District, where she no longer lives due to the elimination of GOP gerrymandered maps.  She is running in the 97th District, a red district before and after redistricting.

Scott Allen (R-Waukesha) currently represents the 97th Assembly District.  He is running in the 82nd District.

Candidates for the fall elections can circulate nomination papers beginning on April 15th, and Rep. Cindi Duchow (R-Delafield) has a friendly reminder for voters: get to know your new legislative district.
Duchow is seeking a 6th term in the legislature, and although she hasn’t moved, legislative lines and numbers have shifted. “District lines and numbers may have changed for your community.” said Rep. Duchow. “For instance, my home in Delafield hasn’t moved, but it’s now in the 97th Assembly District instead of the 99th.”
You can find your legislative district by pointing your web browser to legis.wisconsin.gov, and entering your home address in the “Who Are My Legislators?” box.
