Summary from planning staff report:
The applicant plans to demolish a two-story multi-family building (consisting of 25 units) and replace it with a four-story building consisting of 84 to 86 units (there’s a discrepancy in the submitted materials) along with an underground garage for 60-63 vehicles plus bicycle storage. The applicant recently completed a similar project on Hammersley Road in Madison. The University Avenue Corridor Plan adopted by the City has various recommendations that directly pertain to this site.
