Alma spent the first 28 years of the 1900s in the top 100.  Following a slow 3-decade decline, she treaded water duing the 1960s, 70s, and 80s, after which her popularity went into a precipitous decline.  Just about when it looked as though she would fall off the chart, she reversed course and is on her way, as of now, to a modest comeback.
