Parents of baby boomers gave Stacy her first boost, but it was the parents of Gen-Xers who sustained the popularity of the name into the 1980s.  Stacy first appeared in 1949, spent 21 years (1966-1986) in the top 100, peaking at #32 in 1971.  We haven't heard from her since 2011.
