100 Years of Frank Sinatra: "Reveille with Beverly"
"Reveille with Beverly", released on February 4, 1943, is the first movie for which Frank Sinatra receives screen credit. The movie features a number of popular bands of the day: Bob Crosby and his Orchestra, Freddy Slack and his Orchestra with Ella Mae Morse, Duke Ellington and his Orchestra, Count Basie and his Orchestra. (Listed in order of their billing in the opening credits.)
The role of Beverly is played by Ann Miller.
Looks to be no bobby-soxers among this group.
