Frank Sinatra first recorded "People Will Say We're In Love" in New York City in June 1943. The Popular Song website ranks it as #31 among the top popular songs of the year.



The song is from the smash 1943 Richard Rodgers-Oscar Hammerstein II musical Oklahoma, which was originally titled Away We Go.
