2012-2016 % change in vote by party
  • +8.7% Republicans
  • -21.2% Democrats
Third party tallies
  • Gary Johnson 1,092 (4%)
  • Jill Stein 347 (1%)

2008-2010 drop in Democratic voter participation:  40% vs. 9% for Republicans.
2012-2014 drop in Democratic voter participation:  27% vs. 4% for Republicans.

Walker's vote total increased by just 7% in 2014 compared to 2010.  Mary Burke's total was 25% more than Tom Barrett', not surprising in one of the state's bluer counties.

Steady as she goes in Columbia County.  And illustrating the Democrats' dilemma.
