Kimberly Wethel reports on the GOP gang that couldn't shoot straight:

Although both chambers are controlled by Republicans, Senate and Assembly leaders appeared to have placed the blame on the other house and on Democratic Gov. Tony Evers for the breakdown in talks. The impasse was announced less than 30 minutes before the Legislature’s budget committee was due to resume meeting Thursday.
