Charles Sulivant, 91, is facing counts of lewd or indecent acts to a child under age 16. An affidavit said there were incidents at Sulivant’s church, Shawnee’s First Church of the Nazarene. 

Documents show the incidents took place between 2008 and 2013. One of the alleged victims was a 9-year-old girl who told her mother that Sulivant lured her to his truck. 

The girl’s mother reported the incident to the church pastor, who said he was aware of at least four other girls that Sulivant had “tried something with,” according to the affidavit.

"Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight and was full of violence. God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways."  (Genesis 6:11-12)
