Rep. David Steffen, R-Green Bay, said his committee was waiting for the resolution's author to reach out to his office before a hearing on the impeachment resolution against Wisconsin Elections Commission Administrator Meagan Wolfe would be scheduled. He said the resolution's lead author, Menominee Falls Republican Rep. Janel Brandtjen, had not reached out to him when he spoke to News 3 Now Thursday morning.
Brandtjen tried to force a vote on the impeachment resolution during a floor session last week, but Assembly leadership blocked her resolution from being heard.
