U.S. Census Bureau's 2022 population estimates: Iowa's 34th smallest county (Cherokee) has fewer residents than it did in 1890

 
Iowa has 99 counties.

91.8% Trump white Cherokee County's population has decreased 40% since its 19,258 peak of 1940.
