Brooke debuted in the 1950s but wasn't yet ready for prime time.  She re-emerged in the early 1960s and then took off after 1965, lifting herself into the top 100 by the end of the 1970s, where she spent 31 years (1979-1984, 1987-2011), peaking at #43 in 2003.   Without her, Brooke might not have had much of a baby name career.
