Fairfax County, Virginia: Why the GOP believes that voter suppression is the only path to survival

Fairfax County.  From a 36.1 percentage point GOP advantage in 1984 to a 41.9 percentage point Democratic advantage in 2020.

(Alabama segregationist George Wallace received 12.9% of the vote in 1968)

Trump received 10,691 more votes than he did in 2016, a 7% increase.   Biden received 64,810 more votes than Clinton did in 2016, an increase of 18%.

Trump's share of the vote decreased by 0.6 percentage points.  Biden increased Clinton's share of the vote by 5.5 percentage points.
