Then and Now: Forest Products Laboratory, Madison, Wisconsin

Then.  From a postcard with a June 30, 1951, postmark.

Now.  The building's exterior appears unchanged.

Located at 1 Gifford Pinchot Drive, the 87,000-square-foot Forest Products Laboratory was constructed in 1932 on the west side of the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus.  This facility currently houses administrative offices.  Research takes place at the $38 million, 86-955-square-foot Centennial Research Facility, which opened in June 2010.
