During a presentation at a lunchtime energy policy panel at the Clinton Library in September, Norman Bates Tony Perkins  -- dang! -- Tom Cotton claimed that the earth's temperature hasn't warmed during the past 16 years.  (It's a climate denier memeNine of the 10 warmest years on record have occurred since 1998.)

Cotton was elected to the House of Representatives in 2012 and the U.S. Senate in 2014, when he defeated the 2-term Democrat Mark Pryor with 56.5% of the vote.

No Friend to the Environment dishonor roll.

Alabama Congressional delegation:  U.S. House of Representatives.   (Their anti-environmentalism can be summed up in one word:  coal.  Which is odd, since Alabama contributes a mere 1.9% of U.S. production, good enough for an overall ranking of 13.  The state's peak year of production:  1990)

  • At-large District.  Don Young (R).   Ridiculed environmentalists as a “self-centered bunch of waffle-stomping, Harvard-graduating, intellectual idiots.....not Americans, never have been Americans, never will be Americans.”
