Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh's 6-pronged Funding Strategy

Excerpt: In all, the library system Friday announced six funding initiatives, together designed to generate as much as $7 million annually. Besides working for a property-tax referendum, the system will increase overall advocacy efforts, seek annual funding increases from the Regional Asset District, build corporate contributions, work with state and local governments to develop new incentives for library contributions, and attempt to build an endowment.
