Sheboygan Continues to Speak Up for Its Library
Link to November 21 Sheboygan Press letter to the editor, "Mead Library fills needs of many people".
Excerpt: If the mayor expects to draw new businesses to the city, he should remember how important this library is to people considering a move here. People who actually have moved here repeated this several times at the forum.
Mead Public Library has been a life-long influence on the citizens of Sheboygan for generations. It has supported us in good times and bad — 110 years of keeping us up to date, entertained and educated.
It needs the support of the people who use it and rely on it being open and ready to serve the community at large, who sometimes take for granted that it would always be there.
