With an election 5 months away and the state legislature not meeting until January, Racine GOP Gomers continue to push for Vos impeachment

Republicans angered by Vos' refusal to act on former President Donald Trump's request to overturn the 2020 presidential election are leading the effort. Vos has argued there was no constitutional pathway to reverse the election results in Wisconsin. 

Former Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman, who is assisting with the recall effort, said the previous effort had been "sabotaged" but this time more stringent efforts were put in place to ensure only valid signatures were collected. The majority of the signatures came from the 63rd District, he said.
