After serving nearly 11 terms in the Assembly, Samantha Kerkman resigned on 6/7/2022 to begin a 4-year term as Kenosha County Executive.  Guess winning an Assembly seat over and over again just became too easy for her.

Two Republicans will face off in the August 9, 2022, primary:  a restaurant owner who regurgitates rote conservative talking points and a Moms for Liberty fanatic.  A choice from hell.  Democrat Max Winkel is going to have to work his tail off
