In Wisconsin, Jackson County is on fire with the virus

 

In Jackson County, the number of new reported cases during the past week is 50% higher than a month ago.


47% of all Jackson County residents are fully vaccinated compared with 61% statewide.  Of Wisconsin's 72 counties, it's the 10th least vaccinated.

Jackson County is no. 6 (of 72) on the Wisconsin hit parade of Covid hot spots.


Jackson County's peak 7-day average of new Covid cases occurred on November 17, 2020.  It still has a long way to go to reach that height, but its numbers have been trending upward since the beginning of August.
