GET ME REWRITE: In the Wisconsin State Senate, the hurdle is the big heap of stinky laundry otherwise known as Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald

Reported in Wisconsin Assembly again approves call for Constitutional convention.  (Capital Times, 2/18/2020)
The proposal does not need the support of Democratic Gov. Tony Evers to be enacted. But it does have to clear the state Senate, where the measure received a public hearing in October but hasn't yet gotten a committee vote. Its future in that chamber is unclear.
Unclear?  You can bet on it!
