UW-Madison associate professor develops Neighborhood Atlas tool


Where people live can affect their brains, UW study says.  (Wisconsin State Journal, 1/7/2020)
The research looked at socioeconomic factors such as poverty, unemployment, education and housing quality in a Neighborhood Atlas tool developed by Dr. Amy Kind, a UW associate professor of medicine and another author of the study.

At a glance, it appears that living in a county that has experienced a significant loss of population is likely to affect the brain.
