"Casey at the Bat" was first published in the San Francisco Examiner on June 3, 1888, which likely accounts for the name's appearance on the chart in the early 20th century.  As a boy's name, Casey reappeared in 1942, and as a girl's name, Casey made her first appearance in 1967.  Both names peaked at #80 within a year of each other -- Casey (girl) in 1986 and Casey (boy) in 1987.   Both are currently on a slide to oblivion.
