Stanley was a steady, if not flashy, performer during the 1st half+ of the 20th century, spending 60 years (1900-1959) in the top 100, peaking at #34 from 1915 to 1917.  Since 1960, however, he has been on an increasingly downward trend, although the past 10 years indicate he's not giving up without a fight.
