UPDATE. Once again Tiffany Koehler is the runner-up in 58th Wisconsin Assembly District primary election

According to Washington County Clerk Ashley Reichert there was about a 10 percent voter turnout, with the largest turnout in the Town of West Bend. 
Gundrum, who currently serves as Washington County Board Chairman and is also a trustee in the Village of Slinger, officially announced his candidacy Nov. 16.

Dennis Degenhardt is the Democrat in the race.  The special election will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2018.

Washington County Board supervisor Rick Gundrum, West Bend businessman Steve Stanek, and Janesville carpetbagger Spencer Zimmerman are also running as Republicans.  So far, Dennis Degenhardt is the only Democrat running in this deep-red district.
