From a distance, it looks and sounds like some mighty strange kinda booing.
But, digging in, you'll hear that there were indeed some unhappy folks.
When I encounter the term "booed off the stage", I assume, perhaps wrongly, that the target wasn't able to finish a performance. Cruz concluded his speech last night with a determined flourish.
