Reference collection close-up at the Central Library of the Madison Public Library

Still available in print.  (FAQ)

In the fall of 2009, when I served as interim director at the Portage Public Library, I was surprised to find this title in its reference collection where, apparently, it still remains.

During the years that I taught workshops on public library reference collection development, I thought this set, based on price alone, was an appropriate purchase only for large resource libraries.

None of the other 42 LINKcat public libraries own this title.
