Let's see now, Scott Walker, 47, was first elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly on November 3, 1992, the day after his 25th birthday.

Years of public service:

• 10 in the State Assembly
• 8 as Milwaukee County Executive
• 5 (and counting) as Governor of Wisconsin

This adds up to 'career politician' in my dictionary.
