F. B. L. A. = Future Business Leaders of America. Membership was open to any student taking a commercial subject.
Like "Tammy", "Cheryl experienced a meteoric rise and fall, though she did stick around for a while longer. Cheryl's best years were from the mid-1940s to early 1960s.
"Soldier Boy" had spent 3 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 during the month before the WAHS class of '62 graduated.
