Speaker Robin Vos also selected Pat Strachota (R-West Bend) as Assembly Vice-Chair on Joint Finance.

On the Democratic side, Minority Leader Chris Larson chose Bob Wirch (Pleasant Prairie) and Jennifer Shilling (La Crosse) to serve on the committee.  Current co-chair Lena Taylor was not reappointed.

In a nutshell.   The Joint Committee on Finance is a statutory, 16-member standing committee of the Wisconsin Legislature. The Committee's primary responsibility is to serve as the principal legislative committee charged with the review of all state appropriations and revenues.

With Republicans holding majorities in the Senate and Assembly, the 16 members will include 12 Republicans and 4 Democrats.
