It was a divided sky -- a mass of steel-gray clouds to the west and a brightly illuminating sun to the east.

"Sunday Mornin'" by Spanky and Our Gang debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 for the week ending January 6, 1968. The song spent 8 weeks on the chart, peaking at #30. It deserved much better, as did all of the group's singles.
