GET ME REWRITE: Donald Trump spills the beans about his recent MRI

Those of us who’ve had an MRI know it’s not a routine procedure that takes place during an annual check-up.  Doctors use this expensive tool to make a diagnosis and, if necessary, recommend treatment. 

And when you're in a room where the machine is located, that opening looks very small.

Katie Rogers reports and charitably uses the word 'mischaracterize' to describe Trump when he is more than likely just flat out lying:

“I gave you the full results,” Mr. Trump said, mischaracterizing the summary that was released by his physician. The summary did not say that Mr. Trump had an M.R.I. scan and had few details on what testing the president had undergone. When asked why he had undergone an M.R.I., the president said, “you could ask the doctors.” Magnetic resonance imaging, a noninvasive technology that creates detailed images of the inside of the body, is often used for disease detection and monitoring, or to detect bone or joint abnormalities. 

 

Retiring Guy's MRI experience took place during a puzzling, disturbing and dangerous spike in blood pressure 6-7 years ago.
