Nicole Pollack reports:
Plans are preliminary, but the company is currently proposing a nearly $85 million building with approximately 6,000 square feet of retail space — potentially for use by a community service provider — and amenities including community areas, a dog run and a playground. The residential portion of the building would wrap around an above-ground parking structure with upwards of 250 parking spaces.
All of the roughly 99 one-bedrooms, 93 two-bedrooms and 49 three-bedrooms would be available to households earning less than the area median income, with the average unit capped at 60%, Wesner said. Dane County’s area median income is $90,900 for one person and $129,800 for a family of four.
