Veridian Homes plans to convert about 214 acres of agricultural land on the city’s Far West Side into a sprawling neighborhood that would have between 1,563 and 1,703 housing units.
The future Hill Valley subdivision is set to see about 560 single-family homes, 290 attached homes and townhouses, several apartment buildings and some space for businesses such as coffee shops, restaurants, day cares and salons. The project is planned alongside a network of new roads, paths and parks between South High Point and South Pleasant View roads.
It received initial approval from the City Council this week.
