Who will win the Battle of the Buc-ee's in Wisconsin?

DeForest will not be the first community in Wisconsin to get a Buc-ee’s after all, but officials in the Dane County village remain hopeful that the massive travel plaza will someday be built. 
Village officials say they need state assistance for millions of dollars in highway improvements due to the anticipated increase in traffic at the intersection of Highway V and Interstate 39/90/94. Bills for the funds are moving through the state Legislature. 
But on Tuesday, the City Council in Oak Creek, a suburb of Milwaukee, approved plans that pave the way for the state’s first Buc-ee’s. Buc-ee's The 74,000-square-foot Oak Creek store with scores of fuel pumps would be constructed on a nearly 30-acre plot of land at I-94 and Elm Road and could open by 2027, according to officials from the Texas-based company.
