Oh, the Humanities Building on the UW-Madison campus

Replacing and demolishing Humanities comes with the highest cost, at $292.5 million. But the hit to taxpayers drops to $245 million with $30 million in gifts and $16 million in other funds. The cost to complete UW-La Crosse’s Prairie Science Center, ranked as the UW system’s top priority, is $194.4 million, an increase of $12 million from the current state budget. The projected cost to renovate UW-Milwaukee’s health sciences building has increased by nearly $8 million since the last budget cycle to $188 million.
