Wisconsin Republicans in the legislature are fighting back following a bombshell ruling Monday. A Dane County judge ruled Act 10 as unconstitutional. The landmark legislation passed in 2011 divided the state and stripped most public sector employees of the ability to bargain for wages and workplace issues. 

On Tuesday, Assembly Speaker Robin Vos issued a one-sentence statement on their next step: “We have appealed this order and will seek a stay pending appeal.”
