59-year-old James Swanson was sentenced to three years in federal prison on Friday, September 20. Chief District Judge Brenda Sannes also imposed a sentence of 15 years of supervised release, which Swanson will serve once he is released from prison.
As part of the earlier guilty plea, Swanson admitted that in March of 2022, he uploaded several videos of child pornography to a cloud storage account. Swanson also admitted that he had engaged in this conduct for years. However, he would purge his collection periodically before eventually accessing.
Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. (Ephesians 5:11)
