As seen from the McKee City fire tower, the highway runs a little south of east toward the ocean across the plain. In a sense, this is the reverse of the previous picture. Under a near-monotone gray sky the towers of Atlantic City break the distance horizon slightly, beneath a slight smudge of smoke.

This is now.
