Increasing diversity of Richfield, Minnesota

An inner-ring suburb of Minneapolis, Richfield experienced its greatest period of population growth during the 1950s and 1960s during the post-WWII housing boom.  Its population has dropped 23% since its 1970 peak of 47,231.
