What's the matter with Iowa? Doubling down on GOP War on Women

With the ban now in place, Reynolds and other Republican leadership have said they plan to emphasize policies meant to aid pregnant women and to foster fatherhood. Iowa House Speaker Pat Grassley, R-New Hartford, said Monday that House Republicans will also continue to craft "common sense policies that promote and protect life." 

That could include legislation that failed in the last session defining life as beginning at conception. Critics have said such as bill would threaten in vitro fertilization. [emphasis added]
