Mushrooming Town of Middleton, Wisconsin: The Knoll housing development, "Country Living in the City of Madison". (June 2024 construction site visit)

 

Things are just getting underway here.  Still in excavation mode.

The subdivision -- red box on aerial view below -- is located on the corner of Pioneer Road and Old Sauk Road in Madison.  Which is where Retiring Guy stood when taking the first two photos.  (Red arrow.)

This photo was taken from the end of Tawny Elm Parkway.  (Orange arrow.)

 

This aerial view is at last 6 years old.  The areas highlighted in orange are fully developed, except for the westernmost portion.  Construction of Pope Farm Elementary School (green box) started in 2019.
